I was thinking the other day that I wished I was in art school or something, but you know, I have the entire internet to learn from and the real world to draw so it's not like I'm starved of resources.
I made myself up a little list of 'lessons' to do because sometimes I want to draw, but I'm not sure what to work on:
Draw a bunch of arms focussing on elbows
Draw some random comic panels to practice expressions
Do some environments from movie screenshots
Draw a page of exaggerated cartoonish poses
Do 1, 2, 3 & 4 point perspective drawings
Go outside and draw some buildings
And I started playing games again. I used to play games a lot when I was in school, but then I lost interest. However, I really want to finish playing Majora's Mask before my N64 carks it. I'd forgotten how fun Zelda games are. And I love the way they use time in this one, it's like everyone has their own lives going on and you can pop in and interfere. I also started playing Team Fortress 2, which is wierd because I generally don't like FPSes but it's just so fun.
And I discovered that if I play on the smaller monitor and sit further back from the screen and don't play for too long then I won't get a headache from it.
